Assistant Front Office Manager Job Description:

General Front Office duties such as taking care of front desk operations including guest registration procedures, phones, reservations, multi-tasking, etc.

Assist Front Office Manager to monitor employees, making sure all guests receive prompt and personal recognition to ensure guests have a wonderful stay.

Oversee guest arrivals and departures.

Prepare forecast reports.

Train employees, ensuring team members have current knowledge of hotel services, events, pricing, standard operating procedures, emergency information/procedures as well as all policies.

Well developed communication skills

Ensure workplace remains clean and tidy

Assist with keeping a peaceful, team orientated work environment while maintaining professionalism

Learn all shifts and be reliable to cover extra shifts as needed.

In the absence of the Front Office Manager, take charge of the front office operations. Primarily reporting to the Front Office Manager- Handling any guest complaints or issues correctly.

Conduct all other duties, responsibilities, and actions that are asked/required as expressed from the Front Office Manager.

Show initiative, problem solving, team worker, leader, and trainer with High Level of Customer Service.
Must be very reliable, flexible, trustworthy, has attention to detail, and able to work well under pressure.

Ability to maintain guest confidentiality
